Our six-stage respray process
Good coating work is won during preparation. Each stage protects the finish, the shutter mechanism and the premises around it.

Survey
We assess the shutter type, coating condition, access, size and surrounding surfaces.

Clean
The curtain and guides are degreased and cleaned so the new coating can bond correctly.
- 03
Prepare
Loose paint and corrosion are removed, sound edges are feathered, and exposed areas are treated.

Mask
Windows, brickwork, signage, pavements and nearby property are carefully protected.
- 05
Spray
A suitable primer and topcoat system is applied in controlled, even passes on site.
- 06
Inspect
Masking is removed, the finish is checked and the shutter is tested before handover.

Spray-on anti-graffiti coating
For shutters in areas affected by tagging, a compatible clear coating can be applied after the colour finish has cured. It provides a sacrificial cleaning surface so future graffiti is easier to remove.
Suitability and cleaning method depend on the complete coating system. We specify the colour and clear layers together rather than treating protection as an afterthought.
